 I have obtained my doctoral degree from ETH Zürich. In parallel, I am involved in various projects, regarding development and design of innovative antimicrobial materials, biophysical analysis by BioAFM, FluidFM and simulations (COMSOL and molecular dynamics), and bioanalytics (UPLC, HPLC, UV-Vis, DLS and GC-mass). In addition, I am familiar with versatile physical analytical tools (TEM, HRTEM, STEM, EDS, SEM, XPS, FT-IR, Raman, AFM, STM). My hands-on experience with the aforementioned techniques, I am able to comprehensively study complicated scientific challenges, particularly for biological scientific questions concerning bacteria and mammalian cells, their interactions and their interactions with materials.
